What We Run is for showing the machines and systems you really run, so other people can build the same thing. Keep it real, keep it kind, keep it here.
Do
Post what you really runYour own systems, your own clips. Say if it's still being built, and post when it goes down or comes back up.
Say where you got thingsStore, used, or built it yourself. That's what helps the next person most.
Ask and answer in publicQuestions go on the part they're about, so everyone learns from the answer.
Check your clip before you postFaces, license plates, house numbers and signs can show who or where you are.
Don't
No ads or sellingNo sales pitches, shops, or "DM me to buy". Store links are only for where you got a part.
No contact infoNo phone numbers, emails, or "message me on…". There are no private messages here, on purpose.
No real names or someone else's private stuffMade-up usernames only. Don't post other people's faces, homes or details.
Nothing mean, creepy, gross or sexualBe the kind of person you'd want to learn from.
Nothing fakeDon't post systems you don't run, or copy someone else's clips.
If something's wrong
Tap ⋯ on a post. Give them a heads up privately tells the poster their clip shows something personal (they never see who sent it). Report goes to us, not to them.
We look at every report. Posts that break these rules come down. People who keep breaking them lose their account.
Think we got it wrong? Email hello@whatwerun.com. A person reads it.
Age
Anyone can watch. You need to be 13 or older to make an account.
Your stuff is yours
You own what you post. By posting, you let What We Run show it in the app. Delete it anytime and it's gone. See the privacy page.
